Along the entire stretch from San Agustin to Playa del Ingles is a beach promenade. From this one has a wonderful view of the dunes of Maspalomas.

Playa del Inglés constitutes a compact triangle with the base of the beach and San Agustin and Maspalomas on each side. In this Triangle are hotels, shops, nightlife and apartments side by side. It can be hard to get a good overview of the area, so feel free to use the big shopping centers Kasbah, Yumbo and Cita as anchor points. In summer dominated instead of Englishmen and Germans, while in winter there most Scandinavian and Finnish tourists here. Man did not come here to experience the genuine Spain, but to vacation.

But there is a lot one can do if one wants to come home with more memories than discos, beaches, hotel pool and shopping rounds. Playa del Ingles is known as disko- and party instead of Gran Canaria. Along the main street Avenida de Tirajana, there are many restaurants, bars and cafes. Otherwise, there are most of the entertainment at the malls, on the beach and otherwise spread around the town.
